We were walking on the boardwalk.
Anthony’s grandmother finished a bottle of water.
I asked him to throw it away.
He looked at me and said, “Why me?”
I didn’t say anything.
I just held eye contact. Calm.
A few seconds later, he picked up the bottle and took it to the trash.
It wasn’t about the bottle.
It was about respect.
Sometimes you have to be strict.
Even when it’s something small.
Because those are the moments that build something bigger—
character, respect for others, and an understanding of how we show up in a family.
