While I’ve been sick since Friday morning, Camden did manage to get his haircut this morning. And, while “shorter” was the plan — I’m not sure this buzz cut is what we initially had in mind.

Truth is, he looks more and more like a mini-me now. In fact, it reminds me to go shave my own head now.
I’m slowly tightening the screws on my employer. While I won’t say I’m indispensable, I do have a work schedule that includes Telecommute Tuesdays & Thursdays. It’s a really sweet deal, being able to work in your boxers until noon time.
I’m actually going to push for “More Productive Mondays”, “Work Remote Wednesdays” and “Freedom Friday”. The truth though is that I am insanely more productive working from home. Which is why I actually had some time to post tonight!
<rant>I took some heat from my last post. Apparently it’s okay to discuss happy fun things like laughter, messy eating, dancing and trips to the beach, but it’s *not* acceptable to discuss pressures of being a parent, stresses in life, problems you face, etc. I guess I forgot who’s blog this is.</rant>
All kidding aside, I do apologize for any negativity that the post hinted or inspired. For what it’s worth, I did get some positive feedback too, albeit in lesser amounts. Free link love to Kristy Bolsinger for being supportive.
And here are some photos from today… Two taken while Camden was on my lap and we were watching the Mary Had a Little Lamb episode of Dora the Explorer available online at NickJr.com. There are two more of Camden rocking his new Lightning McQueen / Cars robe that Uncle Craig and Auntie Jen gifted him.
I never call them that. They’re actually known as JennyCraig. And… I’m out! Happy Tuesday.

Earlier this morning Camden decided that he was playing the role of a Godzilla like beast as he climbed up and onto his Thomas the Tank Engine train table. He immediately wiped everything out, from train tracks and engines to cars and signs.

Of course, he also had to go about having his own little victory dance. Now, I’m not a fan of him being up ON the table (especially since he cannot get down) in fear he may get hurt… but, it WAS a good photo opp as well.

Sorry for the slow posting updates of late. It’s been a bit different of late around home and there hasn’t been much free time to get the site updated. I’ll work on that though ![]()
We went to Target last night, which means I get to cruise the aisles looking for random things. I happened to have my camera with me, and I took these two photos.
First off, who in the world wants their toddler running around with a toy chainsaw?

Second… If you were going to use goat milk for something, that’s cool. Same with evaporated milk. I get that some recipes call for it. But, evaporated goat milk? Awful.

Sorry for the light posting of late. Been pretty productive and my time has been used up. Working on a new video though, so hopefully that will find it’s way online tonight.
